Protein Folding & Disorder

Protein folding and misfolding is important for understanding biological function and disease. Equally important is the dynamics of intrinsically disordered peptides.

The biophysics group at MSU focuses on understanding folding of membrane and soluble proteins and how the dynamics of intrinsically disordered peptides and unfolded states may relate to aggregation of misfolded states.
